Volume is the total weight logged across all sets of a given exercise. For example:

Bench Press

120-lbs x 5

120-lbs x 5

120-lbs x 5 = 5 sets of 5 reps at 120-lbs = 5 x 5 x 120 = Volume of 3,000 lbs

120-lbs x 5

120-lbs x 5

Volume record represents the highest volume of weight logged for that exercise.
